Wednesday, April 25th, 2012“So it’s not gonna be easy. It’s gonna be really hard. We’re gonna have to work at this every day, but I want to do that because I want you. I want all of you, for ever, you and me, every day. Will you do something for me, please? Just picture your life for me? 30 years from now, 40 years from now? What’s it look like? If it’s with him, go. Go! I lost you once, I think I can do it again. If I thought that’s what you really wanted. But don’t you take the easy way out.”
– From the movie “The Notebook” (2004) –

Thursday, March 15th, 2012“I can tell by the way you look at me .. You need to be mine
We could sit watch the stars all night till they disappear into the sky..
I am yours and I know that you’re mine..
You’re worth waiting for..
Be my ONLY.. Be my ONLY..
Your hand in mine .. I swear love speeds up time..
And wind blows southern skies like a lullaby..”

Ricky + Toka
Monday, February 20th, 2012Ricky + Toka were introduced to us by their amazing sister, Ingrid. When we were first introduced, Toka and I exchanged emails almost every day. Toka is this amazing young lady who never fails to smile. Her smile is so infectious that we couldn’t help being happy every time we are near her. Oh – I forgot to mention – Ricky + Toka came all the way from Jakarta, Indonesia to do their pre-wedding session here in Sydney. Toka was so excited about Sydney, kept asking about all the good restaurants in Sydney.. So during the photo shots, I bribed her with those information and kept promising her all those great foods provided that she keep on smiling during the photo shots. Hahaha.. it was actually working, she was smiling all day. We told her about Chat Thai, Makoto, Madang, Seoul Ria, Hurricane and many other good restaurants in Sydney. They were so excited and kept asking if we can do a quick stop and have their lunch at one of those restaurants. Unfortunately, I have to say no – FYI: for those of you who do not live in Sydney – all great restaurants in Sydney have a 20-60 minutes wait time, if you don’t book those restaurants in advance, there is no way we can get into those restaurants during mad lunch hours. And also, it was winter at that time, so we were racing against time, during winter – Sydney will always get dark around 5PM-6PM which means, we have limited time to take photos during the day. So I managed to persuade them to eat in McDonald
Check out one of their photos in McDonald below.. Also check out their photos with the colorful graffiti background.. their personalities really came out during this session.. so for those of you who want to know more about Ricky + Toka.. Check this out..

Friday, February 3rd, 2012Love is like magic, and it always will be, for love still remains life’s sweet mystery.
Love works in ways that are marvelous and strange, there’s nothing in life that love cannot change!
Love can transform the most common place.. into beauty and grandeur and sweetness and grace.
Love is unselfish, understanding and kind, for it sees with its heart, and not with its mind.
Love is the answer that everyone seeks;
Love is the language that everyone speaks.
Love can’t be bought, it is priceless and free.
Love, like pure magic, is life’s sweet mystery.

Hendra + Lucinda
Tuesday, December 20th, 2011Three years ago, I went to Yenny’s BBQ birthday party and got introduced to this CRAZY, beautiful, gorgeous, “I laugh as if there’s no tomorrow” Lucinda. Lucinda was so fun to be with, she’s your perfect gossip partner, the perfect partner-in-crime to do every lil’ mischievous things that you can think of.. And then there’s Hendra.. who was really quiet and cool.. I was like – how do you two ended up together? You guys are the complete opposite of each other J — hm.. actually I shouldn’t say the complete opposite – because once you get to know Hendra.. he’s actually a lil’ bit crazy too…
Anyway, as it turned out, Hendra and Lucinda went to the same high school, they knew each other, but didn’t really talk to one another as both of them were dating other people at that time.. When high school finished, they went on their separate way and lose contact for a while.. However, fate always has a funny way to bring people together, they bumped into each other and start talking and the rest was history..
Andrew + Ivena
Thursday, December 15th, 2011Andrew and Ivena had a long distance relationship for a year. Andrew was in Singapore for works and Ivena went to Sydney to continue her study. When Ivena contacted us earlier this year, she told us all about her kind-hearted and funny fiancee. So we talked and talked and agreed on a date for Andrew to come to Sydney. When Andrew arrived, we had so much fun showing Andrew around Sydney, we took him to see the Opera House — of course — you’re never really been to Sydney if you haven’t seen the Opera House and took him around Sydney CBD. Today, Andrew is going to marry Ivena in Jakarta, Indonesia – we are wishing them all the happiness in the world and hopefully the sun is shining brightly for you both.
Ronny + Ilona
Friday, November 25th, 2011We went to Hunter Valley for their pre-wedding session. During our trip, we get to know the real Ronny + Ilona and surprisingly they are very similar to us. Both Ronny and my husband are manga lovers, they have these reserved days during the week where no one can disturb them when they are reading their online comic. Both of them are quite nerdy and geeky in their own way, both of them are good drivers, both of them do not like arguments.
And like all the girls out there, Ilona and I love shopping, we love shoes, we love dresses, we love bags, we love to eat until we’re full and then complain that we’re fat just for the sake of complaining. And most of the time, just because we are women and our brain are wired differently from you, we complain about every little things under the star, just for the sake of complaining. And sometimes, we do that to test you, to see if you are listening to us.. So to my dear Hubby + Ronny, please don’t be angry at us when we’re PMS-ing, when we complain about our shoes, our hair, our bags, sometimes we just need to vent out and we just need you to listen to us and hug us and tell us that everything is going to be ok. So please don’t give up on us and love us regardless.. because we do love you.. and we’re grateful for you.. So on that note, I would like to share with you guys one of my favourite quote:
“I’m not here to tell you I can’t live without you. I can live without you. I just don’t want to.” - Rumor Has It

Patrick + Marcia
Thursday, October 20th, 2011Once in a while, you’ll find people that you feel comfortable with.. Someone where you struck a friendship straight away, someone whom when you first met them.. it was supposed to be a quick simple meeting discussing about their engagement shoot but you ended up staying for 2-3 hours talking about everything that you can possible talk about under the earth. Late night meetings which turn into dinner invitation courtesy of our great chef, Patrick. Trust me when I said this, Patrick is a great chef. They invited us to their place to try his delicacy.. man.. I’ve been to some of the nicest restaurant in Sydney, but Patrick dinner was by far the nicest and the most yummiest I’ve ever taste.. The efforts that he put in when he cooked his dinner was marvellous. We had pastries as our entrees, basa fillets + prawns as our main and 3 different type of brownies, cookies and macaroons as our desserts. Nothing could have make our day better than that. In fact, we have to say – it was the highlight of our week. To Patrick + Marcia, thank you so much for making us feel welcome, for the friendship that you offered and for the laughter that you brings. May your marriage be blessed and may you live happily ever after. Enjoy your stay in Surabaya guys.. and I’ll see you guys in a month time.
xx
